Lynda Carter passes the lasso to Gal Gadot by TAnimationLB Lynda Carter passes the lasso to Gal Gadot by TAnimationLB
Wonder Woman is a character that I loved watching as a kid on television, whether it was the TV series starring Lynda Carter, the JUSTICE LEAGUE cartoon or even SUPER FREINDS. The only comics featuring her that I read back then were either SUPERMAN or JUSTICE LEAGUE. I just thought she was a cool character, but nothing more. However, it wasn't until 2014, when I saw that photo of Gal Gadot in costume, that I started to do research on the character and revisited the incarnations that I was familiar with.

As I'm drawing and writing this, I know why she is so treasured around the world. Because I'm a fan of hers too. Much like Superman, Diana has an unconiditional love for humanity, but no other character has the compassion and toughness she has. She would spend a whole day or more talking with you just to get to know you as a person and to know your personal strengths and vulnerabilities. That's how compassionate and loving Wonder Woman is. She always tries to avoid violence, but when there's no other way, you should think twice before getting into a battle with her. The fact that she fights for truth and equality is what makes her a peace seeker an a true role model.

I'm so glad that that photo made me want to dive into the world of Themyscira, and I give all the credit to Gal Gadot, Zack Snyder and everyone involved with her in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. If it hadn't been for them, I would've never realized what a "WONDERFUL" character Won der Woman is. I'd like to thank William Moulton Marston (may he rest in peace) for the inception of one of the greatest characters in all comics, and writers such as George Pérez, John Byrne, Brian Azzarello, Greg Rucka, Phil Jiménez, Meredith and David Finch, and countless others for creating new adventures and challenges for her. Voice performances by Susan Eisenberg, Keri Russell and Shannon Farnon reinforce my love for the amazon princess. I'd like to thank Lynda Carter and Gal Gadot for bringing her to life and for carrying the class and sophistication that she is known for. And last but not least, I'm grateful to Zack Snyder, Patty Jenkins and their crews for bringing Wonder Woman to the big screen.

This fan art is dedicated to Gal Gadot, Patty Jenkins, Lynda Carter and Zack Snyder. Hopefully they'll see it one day.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE NEW 52 WONDER WOMAN!!!! That's why I mentioned Brian Azzarello and the Finchs. ;) I'm also a big fan of the Superman/WonderWoman relationship. I need to start reading Wonder Woman rebirth. Trinity Rebirth was amazing though! Thx 4 commenting.
